Hello friend! Sorry to bother, truly, but I needed your help on something to clarify... You're a Wattpad Ambassador if memory serves, yes? I read the "learn more" about the new algorithm thing, and I noticed that if you chose a custom, from my understanding, it would automatically see if there is more of the topic in the specific custom Fandom, and add the custom to the list of official fandoms? So what happens if it comes up short the specified number related to that fandom? Is it going to automatically delete our hard work in said field of Fandom?
For instance, I notice the topic of the SCP, Murder Drones, and Little Nightmares Fandom was NOT a part of the official list when I was scanning through the new stuff, and after reading the "Learn more" to get a better understanding, and seeing the part where the algorithm was going to scan for a specified number of stories that matched the Fandom, it'd add to the official list of Fandom, it did not clarify what would happen to the author's story if the Fandom came up short. Would it still be a free platform, in that case, for ALL forms of writing, or is it just going to discard the works?
I'm asking this as a concerned author of the fanfic variety who put my heart and soul into my stories. I just want to make sure that my hard work won't go to waste because one Fandom isn't as popular as, for instance, K-Pop fandoms.
Again, I deeply apologize for the bother friend, just wanted to know what it means for older Fandoms that are getting a revitalization. Have a blessed day or night where you are:)

@Bluerose156v2 Thank you so much friend. I've been litterally fretting about this for almost a week now, preparing for a potential worst case scenario by taking one of my fanfics, and writing it on paper so that way it could be salvaged for a re-upload if it did, and it's not easy lol. Especially when you are someone who types somewhere from one thousand to almost fifteen thousand hehe. Thank you again for the clarification, and have a blessed day or night where you are:)!

@Bluerose156v2 Alright. I'm back. I think I now have a concrete answer to your concern. No, your story only gets deleted if it violates any Wattpad guidelines. Fandoms in the new categorization system doesn't have a direct correlation to it. If your story follows the content guidelines, your fanfics should be fine. I've said before that about using tags on your story which make it reach a further audience, and it's flexible because without them, your fandoms won't get the relevance it deserves. You still have creative freedom, this website won't take it away from you.
