You’re honestly destroying your own so called “argument” here? You’re justifying your point by saying “Slytherins can be bad people, but they are not all that way” when the exact same logic applies to Gryffindors ... you cannot say that about Gryffindors because it can’t describe them as a whole. And I’ve even debunked the example of a stuck up Gryffindor that you provided in the other comment section.
@goblingimbles Yes, actually I have seen the all of films several times, and started reading the Harry Potter books when I was 7 years old and constantly reread them. I am not saying that Slytherin's are better than Gryffindors, I think Slytherins can be bad people, but they are not all that way. What I meant by that Gryffindors think they are superior was that I believe this was the opinion of fans sorted into that house, not the Gryffindors in the books, though a few of the characters in the book do have that mindset. But originally I was speaking about the Harry Potter fandoms view on Gryffindors and Harry Potter fans sorted into Gryffindor.
Have you read the books or watched even ONE of the films? Genuine question. You’re coming at Gryffindors for acting like they’re better than everyone else, when realistically the Slytherins are easily arguably worse. They think they’re better because they’re pure blood, because they’re rich, etc. They kill, bully, torture and inflict pain on trauma on everyone especially Gryffindors because of that sense of superiority. So that argument is completely bs
