We are 25,000 reads away from a major "Alice the Amazing" milestone and I'm being so chill and normal about the fact that the fanfic I started writing 7 years ago is almost to 1 million reads!!! Thanks for reading and for thinking Alice Henderson is as cool as I do (or maybe you think she's lame but entertaining. I'll take that too)

Earlier in the summer, I planned on releasing Pas De Deux chapters weekly. Ha! That's hilarious. I should be a comedian. But after over a month wait, please enjoy Chapter 3: THE AUDITION. Sorry for the “Pas De Deux” radio silence. In my (very limited) free time, I’ve been working on a very special chapter for a very special “Alice the Amazing” milestone, that I should hit any day now. Here’s a sneak peek, out of context because that’s all the more fun…
          
          ***
          “Are you all right?” Sir Steven said, swooping to kneel by Alice’s side. 
          
          “Please, leave me,” she said, voice tight and panicked. “I am fine.”
          
          “You really should let me see,” Steven said, urgency in his tone.
          
          He reached for Alice’s arm, and she scrambled away from him on the forest floor. Hurt flashed on his face as Steven rose to his feet.
          
          “Miss Alice—”
          
          Suddenly, Alice’s whole being became awash in a soft golden glow. It was Steven’s turn to stumble back. 
          
          “Oh my stars,” he whispered. 
          
          As soon as it began, the glow disappeared, leaving a sheepish Alice in its wake. The pain had disappeared from her arm, and it looked as good as new. A nosebleed rolled out of one nostril, and she quickly wiped it with the sleeve of her dress. 
          
          “Please, do not think me strange because I am different,” Alice said quietly, as she stood on shaky legs. “I do not know why I am this way. I do not know why I am cursed with this abnormality. But I am impervious to hurt.” 
          
          For a long moment, Steven did not reply. 
          
          “I do not think you strange,” he said after a while, breathless. “I think you are amazing, Alice.”
          

ICYMI: Chapters 74, 75, 76, and the Part 4 Epilogue of "Alice the Amazing" have been updated. I retconned my save-Eddie-Munson retcon (sorry Eddie). But the original chapters are at the end of the fic if anyone wants to still read them.
          
          Also I promise I haven't forgotten about "Pas De Deux"!!! Emerson Buckley do I have plans for you!!!

“Alice the Amazing” it recently passed the 950k mark and I’m floored. To quote my grandmother when I told her, “That’s a number you remember.” 
          
          Every day we inch closer to 1 million reads and I just can’t quite believe it. A special chapter will be posted in honor of the milestone. As long as I can finish it in time…I better get to work…

i have a suggestion on a st fan fic that you could write! (if you do end up writing another one) 
          
          okay so, maybe you could make a wizard of oz themed one, like you did the alice in wonderland. so like you could have a oc named Dorothy or something, and have a little pet named toto as well . i think that would be so cool, but you don’t have to do it, it’s just a thought!

I’ve posted the first chapter of my new fic “Pas De Deux”! My hope is for weekly updates, but I may space them out a little more so I can schedule them out further (because when Season 5 drops, all my focus will be on finishing “Alice the Amazing” until that’s finally, officially completed).
