Just a heads up readers, pay attention to chapter numbers after chaoter 80. I just noticed something really annoying today while editing. I can't actually control the order of my chapters any more. Any other authors having this issue? I tried deleting the old versions of chapters I rewrote and it scrambled a bunch of chapters up. No matter if i use the app or the web browser my stuff... to me... is showing up out of order and refuses to save in the right order.

Holy crap 10k views!! Thats guys somuch for the support!!! I guess this would be the perfect time to make an announcement about Ally and Tyler's journey. I had mentioned before that I was not happy with Ally's side of the story for college and had been debating a rewrite. The story went off on a tangent that wasn't supposed to happen and I can't post the end of book 1 and get into book 2 like I want while I regret what I already wrote.
          
          Between the baby, work, and schoolwork, I've been overworked and no time or energy to write. I've been chipping away at the chapters I don't like, but don't have the full fix done yet. I promise I am working on it in what little spare time I have left. I sadly can't promise any hard release dates just because of my limited time to work on it. This is just a hobby after all. 
          
          I do have a question for those that read this far: would you rather I take down the chapters to be replaced along with all of Tylers side for flow sake amd publish what I have when I have it? Or should I just to a mass flip flop of all the bad chapters at once?

Hi all, I know its been a while since my last update. Got a recent messge, so I fogured I'd give a general update. I am working on some chapter rewrites, but its going slow. I'm back to working full time, taking care of house and new baby, and starting Oct 1 back to school as well. I dont want to release the end of the book until I have the first few chapters of book 2 ready to go. The end is going to be rough even after the rewrite, and I dont want to just leave it where it ends.
          
          Thanks all for your patience. I promise the end of book 1 is in sight.

That moment you second guess your whole plot direction because it's going to take too long to get back on track. Like... into a second book later to get back on track.... and I already know the end of book 1 is going to be rather upsetting/ dissapointing to some of you. 
          
          I had plans for book two plot before I ever started The Pathetic Life of Alice Hale. I wanted the back story. I needed it it turns out. I tried writing the second plot as a stand alone and I just couldn't get a good opening/lead up.
          
          So here's my plea to my fans... don't lose hope in the darkness to come. I'm a fan of the unreliable narrator. There's a reason for what I'm about to do to them...

Let the cascade begin... I've got Ally's last chapters written and doing final edits on what I wrote earlier. The end of the book is swiftly approaching yall! There's going to be a lot of uploads all at once as I catch up. I think the last two chapters are the only ones that need story fixing since the story ran away from me and I rewrote a couple chapters over and over again.
          
          For those that have hung on with me... Thank you so much for your patience. I promise I have good reason for how twisted the story is gonna get. Have hope... the story will go on... :D

The little one made it into the world yesterday afternoon! Unfortunately the roommate refused to leave until the last minute before i started chucking things in the trash,  so our baby room is nowhere close to being done. Sigh. That means I won't have a whole lot of spare time to work on the book. I am still trying to get it finished, I promise. 

For those that haven't seen the latest comments, I am still actively working on the book. I am so sorry it's taking so long, but I'm full time work while I can, plus college student, plus pregnant and due May 5. My brain is serious mush on a good day, and I don't have as much free time as I would like to actually get through these last two chapters for Ally. 
          
          The good news is Tyler's side is already about 90% written up to the end of the book. The next chapter drop will be massive. Mostly because I'm hoping to do the drop before I pop and lose any and all free time.

Next chapter is out! There's just another few to finish up before you finally get to see Tyler's side of the story. Don't hate the poor guy too much K?!

Sorry for all the random updates. Adding songs to some chapters. As they came across my Playlist today I was like "oo that would fit here" or re-listened to a song and realized it didn't quite fit right where I had originally put it.
