This is an advanced notice that I will be removing my works from Wattpad by the end of the month. If you are currently reading any of my works, please note you have until then to finish reading.
          
          I’m doing this purely because I am not active on Wattpad anymore to interact with any of you. There’s no exciting explanation for this - just that post-uni, post-pandemic life has got in the way of Wattpad. I simply don’t have time.
          
          I’m not closing my account completely, just because I don’t know what the future holds. I might be lurking in the shadows every so often, whenever I can snatch a bit of time. But I want to wish you all good luck with your future writing endeavours. It's been a great six years.

I noticed you took down The Night Mares?

Yes, it is indeed a quick succession of posts for 'The Curse of Thorkirk'. Why? Well, I was meant to be travelling today to visit university friends, but Storm Eunice is blowing a gale and I'm stuck inside. What else was there to do but write another chapter?

I've just posted the first chapter of my ONC 2022 entry: The Curse of Thorkirk. 
          
          I'm hoping I find the time to complete this novella and read as many others as I can. I love this competition so much - definitely my Wattpad highlight of the year!
          
          As a little teaser, this is my blurb for 'The Curse of Thorkirk':
          
          Everyone knows about the legend of the bell. Everyone knows they appear and disappear at random in Redfern Forest. Everyone knows that if you touch one, you'll be cursed by a witch.
          
          Twelve-year-old Yasmin Hatcher isn't one to shy away from a challenge. She doesn't like being told what she can and can't do. So when her ex-best friend says nobody should go into Redfern Forest at night, Yasmin sets about proving her wrong.
          
          Unfortunately for Yasmin, her little brother, Elijah joins the quest. Together, they stumble upon a bell in the centre of the forest and discover the truth about the curse of the bell.
          
          It turns out that witches aren't the problem. Vikings are.
