@soverlars [and she knows she should take a break. especially with how heavy her eyes felt and how stiff her shoulders were feeling. if she overworked her muscles she’ll be in so much pain even in the tournament.. but she couldn’t risk failing] right, yeah.. coming [the weaponry in her hands are lowered and set aside to lean on the barrel. dusting off her hands] what’s the bonfire for? someone’s birthday?

@reapsowed .. —-fuck the damn article! it was all rage bait and you know it. mom knows, the brothers do. hell, even astorya knows and she’s what, not even ten? —-why can’t she get that through her thick head? [while he typically wasn’t one to lash out when it came to his anger or frustration, he truly couldn’t stop himself even if he tried. although he was able to make it clear none of his frustration or anger was directed at his father, he just happened to be his outlet at the moment ..to which he would feel about after the fact. he hadn’t slept, for circe’s voice above all was practically haunting his every thought, and with that came the loss of appetite. three long days of restless nights and starving days, he was about to crack one way or another. anxiously running his hand through his hair, his only next option was to pace around in the free space between the wall and empty chair by his father’s desk] and if i don’t marry her, then what? she faces the same issue i do —bearing a bastard, and i know that won’t be taken lightly just as much as me. and what does it mean for our family? we lose a rather strong political ally and ultimately jeopardizing our family’s safety because i refuse to trap both of us in a loveless marriage if it came down to it? ..oberon drusilla will actually have my head for this

@crnaliyre [all he could do is simply listen. and with each word his son seemed to ramble out melted the slight icy exterior his father had. there was no need to be grand president now, which he never was when it came to his children. he was a father first, a husband second, and a political figure third. no matter how many times the council or even the country tried to switch the three. and right now? his son needed him more than ever. and samm couldn’t stay angry for long. not that he really was. disappointed? maybe but never angry. he can’t even name a moment in his life when either of his children had made him angry. they would either annoy him or not, as expected of them. and, to tell you the truth samm didn’t like that his son was this distraught. a simple mistake and he could only assume that he felt everyone was against him, while atreus could go on whatever rebellious adventure he wished. and though draco was tamed and dutiful now, he still had a past that may as well be worse than this] .. im not upset with you [he had to ponder over those words before accepting the fact that he genuinely wasn’t, mistakes happen.. however grievous . what mattered now was that they had to figure out how to move forward with this. and that was an obstacle too big for another day] it’s not because she wants to preserve her right as heir it’s because she has yet to recover, you saw how she was when that article dropped—-it has only made her paranoid and fearful of making any mistake whether it be us or herself.. [and, she was right. a marriage between the two young parents would fix all of their problems of the future——but that was /not/ what his son wanted, and samm knew that] you don’t have to marry her. i’ll plan a meeting with her mother and father and if you want you can attend, we’ll move forward from there ..

@reapsowed [did he want to confront his father about the matter? god no. in fact, he was rather content with locking himself away and avoiding any sliver of interaction, at least until all of this died down some and their entire family was less tense. but it was lingering in not only his head, but his chest too. it felt as if he was soon to drown from the constant weight pushing on his chest. hands anxiously rung before his frame as his head hung low, he refused to see the look of sheer disappointment in his father’s eyes, his tone was enough to make him regret even finding him in his office at this time of night] you don’t, though. i screwed up, i know. you don’t need to tell me that, because i /know./ circe chewed right into me earlier but simply to preserve her rightful spot as heir and make a political move. but ..i’m going to try and figure this out, one way or another. and as much as i’d love for you or mom to just ..fix it —-you can’t. only i can. and i shouldn’t even be asking you for help, because i caused this and you already have so much on your plate —-but i don’t know if i can marry her. but if i don’t, i’ve tainted our family name by bringing a bastard into it. and if i do? god knows what will happen. i —-i know you’re upset with me, and i would be too, but i don’t know what to do, dad. i really don’t

[it was as if she knew her husband like the back of her hand, before he even opted to sit down she was first to scoot over along the leather couch in their lounge area. not without a sigh of course, and once he sat and his head was in his hands, she crosses one leg over the other as she reaches forward to the ottoman and instead of grabbing her already filled glass, she chooses the bottle of wine at her disposal, taking a lengthy sip as her free hand moved to gently caress the top of his back in means to console him] at least i can be confident to say he would definitely be the one to step up and be responsible ..?

i know he’s your son, but draco is one of the most hardheaded individuals i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. and honestly—- if he’s to get himself hurt or worse.. @doveswept [now it wasn’t necessarily a lie. samm didn’t see his son at all today, but that didn’t mean he was oblivious. still, it was his draco’s wish that he and by extension his brother refrain from telling her of his whereabouts just for the timespan of two days, a limit samm hoped he would meet.. on the other side, though. he did have a soft spot for maybella and in a way, was grateful for her. draco would be stuck in his ways if she had not crossed paths with him] .. wherever he is, i’m sure he’s fine.

simply because i grounded him for his typical antics. not only that, he told syrius i’ve grown soft and sent draco to do his bidding. only reason why he thinks that is because draco is surprisingly on his ..good behavior after some spared words.
