Even /Jenna Rolan/ knows how to match clothes, even if it’s all neon and looks like you can see her in the dark.”

But I guess I should. Don’t know if she’d want to see them, though,” he admitted dully, slinging his bag into his back again.

They hadn’t talked in so long, she would’ve thought Jeremy or his parents wouldn’t have kept these photos, especially since her mom and Jeremy’s hadn’t seemed to talk in such a long while.

They /were/ all so much happier then, so little, all gap-toothed smiles and messed up hair. It was so much easier back then, to talk to people or have friends in the first place.

I was thinking pink or something.” She looked over at this one corner with some cute summer dresses in different colors, pulling Rich over there and using her free hand to look at her options.

I know I’m a tough act to follow.” He kicked his heels off, shoving his feet back into his ordinary comfy sneakers. “But I swear, we’re gonna find something perfect for you. We just gotta look.” With that, he’d grabbed her hand, starting to pull her out of the dressing room area (still in his own dress) and into the main shop.

@ofecstasy “‘Actually going through’ with breaking up with Jake?” Chloe asked, looking down at the plaid pattern on her pink pajama paints. That was a valid question, but Chloe wasn’t sure if it was that easy to answer for herself. She did like the good moments she had with Jake, but the two of them fought so often that it made her sometimes wonder if Stephanie and Brooke had a point about them being bad together. “I guess sometimes.” She said simply as she now stared down at her light pink nails. It’s not like she would be /totally/ helpless if she and Jake broke up— a lot of guys would probably want to be with her. It’s just that when they found out Chloe wouldn’t take any of their ‘Quick Fuck from a Spicy Latina’ bullshit, they usually went after someone like Brooke or Katrina. Jake, unlike those guys, never really acted like that. Maybe that was why she always got back together with him.

"Yeah," she said in a mumble around her hand, which was pressed near her mouth. "I guess." She didn't mean to sound so disinterested--or she thought she sounded so--she just knew the truth. She could always tell, with Chloe. She'd been around long enough to know that sometimes Chloe could make herself believe what she wanted just as easily as she could make other people. Chloe would not really leave Jake, not for a while. Not that she should. He was a nice guy. Everyone messed up sometimes. And it wasn't like she was easy to please. "Have you considered..." She paused. "Like, actually going through with that? Not that y' should--necessarily," she added quickly. "I was jus wondering"

No matter how many times she and Jake broke up, they always seemed to get back together. It was expected at this point, like how Chloe expected Stephanie to agree with her on every little thing in life. If Stephanie did fight back against Chloe, truthfully, Chloe wasn’t sure what she would do. Being angry would be a given, but she could never seem to stay mad at Stephanie for long. The girl then tightened her ponytail and sighed frustratedly. “I don’t know /why/ I even give him the time of day sometimes, you know?”
