Writing is not easy. It's a long process from just a pop of idea, arrange the character, make a whole plot, composing sentences... until became a full story.

Everybody is different. Each writer has a different idea of perfect love, perfect life..etc.. even of perfect games! So you can't blame them if your hero/heroin doesn't act like what you want.
