it was her who had "convinced" them to celebrate,⠀⠀⠀﹙ truth was, they would 've gone anyhow if it was with her, ﹚⠀⠀⠀so... here they were now, gloved hands folding into their pockets as they glanced to her.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ no, no, it 's... really sort of nice, ❞⠀⠀⠀the words were quick to leave them, but they were sincere and thought about. the way the two were away from most crowds, no rush of people but instead the stillness broke apart by occasional cheers or chatter... it was an ambience cirrus could get used to.

“what’re you thinking about? you have a look on your face!” cho grinned cheerfully at them, a twinkle in the girl’s eye. typically, she was very excited for the new year. after all, it represented new beginnings! who wouldn’t like a new beginning?
considering she hadn’t wanted cirrus to spend the day alone, she had made them tag along with her for the night. she wasn’t one to go out and party, however, opting to watch other’s fireworks and enjoy them from afar.
“hm? i do! its.. not typical, i know. hopefully you don’t mind? i mean.. it’s not for everyone, i know that.” she shuffled awkwardly.
