I was helping my brother, who is now studying the Cold war, and I explained Communism to him. At some point, I said
          "If I recall correctly, the citizens didn't have to buy luxury goods, like TVs, the government would just give it to them, but you only had one for the rest of your life."
          When I turned around, he looked at me stone-faced and, all serious, said
          "When Russia was handing out common sense, Hitler was off invading Poland"
          And we just bursted laughing. 

I've, for some time, that *living* and *existing* are two different things.
          You know when they say: "Come on, get out and have fun. It's like you don't have a life!"
          That person, indeed, is not living.
          They are existing.
          I like existing, because I don't know if could manage to live.
