Not gonna lie, medyo disappointing.
Like, I joined Wattpad to meet fellow writers, share stories, and grow with people who actually get the struggle. So when someone asks me for a vote-to-vote or follow-to-follow, I say yes—because I believe in mutual support. I mean, we’re all hustling here, right?
But why is it na after I give my part—vote, follow, even hype sa comments minsan—you suddenly disappear? As in ghost mode? No follow back, no vote return, no thank you. Nada.
I wasn’t expecting a parade, just decency.
I don't care if it's “just Wattpad” for you. For some of us, it’s time, effort, and passion. Kaya medyo nakakahiya naman if ang bilis mong manghingi ng support pero ang bagal (or never) mo magbigay pabalik.
This isn’t me being petty—this is me being real.
If you can’t honor a simple promise like a follow or a vote, I seriously doubt your integrity as a writer. Kasi writing isn’t just about talent—it’s about character. And you just wrote yourself into the antagonist role, bes.
You don’t “forget.” You choose not to deliver.
And that’s on you.
So next time you slide into someone’s DMs asking for “mutual support,” be sure na you’re actually mutual. Kasi kung clout lang habol mo, at the expense of those who genuinely believed in you, then don’t call yourself a writer. Call yourself what you really are—a taker.
We create worlds. You? You can’t even create trust.
