Long, beautiful blonde hair. Deep, green eyes filled with the colour of envy. All I could think about was how fearful I was. She seemed...ruthless. Her eyes were set in a permanent scowl, her lips downturned in an angry frown. I couldn’t help but gnaw my lower lip as I saw a dark place, a place that closely resembled my home and my school. It was pure silence and not one person I knew could be seen—, except for the ones whom my mind conjured up.
They moved like clockwork, going from one place to another. Over time, I could feel things growing older and older and older and then I saw them. My family. I tried to reach out to them but not one of them could see me. I tried to grab their hands and I went right through them. It was like...it was like I was dead. I didn’t want to be dead.
I moved throughout my home, seeing everyone going along without me, like I was never there. I fell down on my knees, a scream piercing over the mumbles and incoherent whispers that had formulated over time. “I don’t want to be here anymore!” I heard myself scream.
And suddenly, I wasn't.
