I have the same reading preferences and I recommend you read Janette Oke's When Calls The Heart series (if you have never read it). You like classics too? That's awesome! I thought I was the only one still reading books from my grandparents time.(okay,not necessarily only but you get what I mean). My absolute favorite is a little princess. The story was so magical and SSarah still held her head high through it all. Have you read the sequel? It's really good though not from Sarah's point of view. Anne Shirley is so spirited and is such a dreamer. I loved every bit of every situation she found herself. It really is a nice book. My second favorite.
