〝  i'm just full of surprises,  aren't i? ＂ the editor jokingly said while quietly undoing inho's belt and trousers.  it was surprising to kaoru how quickly aroused the other had become despite barely doing much as he took the ravenette's shaft into his grasp〝  just pretend i'm not here.. ＂ he softly said against the tip before letting it slowly pass through his inviting cavern,  wanting to tease the other just a bit

〝  do you know your name? ＂ he asked in an attempt to see how concussed the ravenette might have been.  their trek to the infirmary was slow,  them taking a break every once in a while at kaoru hearing the occasional groans of pain that left inho〝  it's a good thing i found you.  or else you would've been there all night ＂ he commented to temporarily break the silence,  trying to make light conversation as they walked

the ravenette's lesson plan book was taken from the desk nearby before kaoru lightly hit inho's head with it〝  show some restraint.  what if someone were to walk in right now﹖ ＂ the editor sighed out before placing a kiss on the spot where he softly hit the other

kaoru looked at inho affectionately before he got up from the couch.  he then made the other also stand up before placing the ravenette's arms back around his waist〝  don't go dreaming big like that when you haven't proposed to me yet ＂ his comment was lighthearted as he spoke,  a kiss being set on inho's nose in return before he turned so they could waddle their way towards the kitchen,  kaoru himself already being too content in the other's embrace〝  and you can help with prepping the ingredients.  what are you craving﹖  i'll make whatever you want ＂

〝  so i'm your personal chef now﹖ ＂ he teasingly asked with a soft laugh at inho's clinging,  but he didn't seem to mind it at all〝  and you can if you let me get up first ＂

the ravenette's face was squished by his cheeks upon kaoru cupping features,  the pad of his thumb gently pushing against inho's lips in the process〝  you're just asking for it aren't you,  you little troublemaker﹖ ＂ he questioned with a chuckle,  his hold on the other's face softening as he stared at him with affection

kaoru's body began to curl against inho's kiss,  his stature shaking slightly as he tried not to burst out laughing〝  you'll make me fall over if you suddenly do that again you idiot ＂ he said through a stifled laugh as he tried to squirm his way out of the ravenette's grasp

the inebriated editor's grumbling continued,  a sigh later being let out as the hand on inho's waist moved to squeeze at the ravenette's hip〝  it'll suck if i end up forgetting this if we do continue.. ＂ he commented while eyeing the other〝  plus,  we should go to your car first.  it's too cold out here ＂

〝  i'm as sure as i'll ever be i'll have you know ＂ kaoru stated as a matter-of-factly,  a hand lifting so that his index finger could lightly trace circles over inho's adam's apple〝  you always tease me like there's no tomorrow.  but when /i/ do it,  here you are being all stiff.  now you know how it feels- ＂ the editor grumbled,  thinking that his own teasing was more than enough of payback for having to go through the ravenette's antics

with his lips being pressed into a line at hearing inho's melancholy,  the editor gently ppulled the ravenette towards him before leaning back until he was laying down.  the other's head was rested on top of kaoru's chest while his chin was propped comfortably on the top of the teacher's head〝  the only thing i want from you now is for you to sober up properly.  i don't want anything else from you aside from that ＂ he reassured,  his fingers softly combing through the other's hair as he spoke〝  you can think otherwise,  but i didn't do all of this for any underlying malicious reason.  i really do just want to make sure you're okay ＂

"⠀ was it the alcohol?  his addled mind can't comprehend why kaoru had to.  inho’s likely not used to it⸺  finds it all too unfamiliar and undeserving of his genuineness.（∙∙∙）staring blankly upon the pills set to his palms,  he eventually put the pills into his mouth and drank the water with the help of kaoru.⠀ "  .. you probably need something from me.  "⠀ inho spoke,  tired and lifeless.  perhaps it wasn't the alcohol  ..  no⸺  must be something he'd been so accustomed to,  he's sure of it.

〝  isn't it obvious﹖ ＂ he began to say as if he didn't need a second to think about his response.  the two pills in his hand and glass of water were carried over to where inho was before sitting on the couch beside him〝  i'm not doing this because someone asked or told me to.  i did it because i wanted to.  i'll be here to watch your back when no one else can.  so you don't have to go through any of this by yourself anymore alright﹖ ＂ he finished his answer as the painkillers were gently set onto the ravenette's open palm.  but he still chose to hold onto the glass of water temporarily in case it might be dropped,  at least until the other needed it
