@Scarlets_and_Roses yes. don't be to fast or slow with the plot. make sure it flows and seem natural, otherwise the story is rushed and the readers don't get enough time to absorb all the details and the full impacts of what happens (I'm not really one to talk, but it does make for a better story). Secondly, grammar, punctuation and spelling. It seems boring, but when your reading a story and you come past mistake after mistake you honestly wonder whether people edit their work and you lose the meaning of the story if you don't understand what the writer is saying. you may not be the world's best speller, but give it a go. Lastly, description. Try to describe all that you see in your head. I hope you found that helpful, and I look forward to reading your works. :-)
