So, I've been on a bit of a journey; during this past month I've come to the realization that I'm fictionkin, specifically hobbitkin. I know most of you only heard of 'kin due to tiktok, but that's not what being 'kin is for me. I don't kin for fun, this is who I am- who I will be for the rest of my life; if you have (respective) questions, I'll do my best to explain my experiences.

That being said, my hair is naturally curly but is *extra* curly today, and I'm wearing overall shorts and this green shirt and skdjskdjsks- I'm having this sort of kin euphoria because I feel so- hobbit-y! Aldkskskd

That means a lot, so I'll do my best! 'Kin is an umbrella term, used to mention three 'kin types: Otherkin, Therianthrope/Therian, and Fictionkin.

Otherkin: “identifying nonphysically as something other than human, partially or wholly.” : Example, being dragonkin.

Therianthrope/Therian: "someone who nonphysically identifies specifically as an animal that exists or used to exist physically on this earth" : Example, being wolfkin, or dinosaurkin. While the definition is a bit under works as therians determine whether they focus on the basis of the animal, or just the animalistic experiences, it's a good place to start.

FIctionkin: “identifying nonphysically as a fictional character and/or species, partially or wholly.” : Example, hobbitkin, or a Steve Rogers kin.

While these are different, there is one important similarity between all three of them: it's involuntary. One can't *choose* to be 'Kin, nor a specific type. You either are what you are, or you're not. I've grown to know of many otherkin who actually Don't Like Their KinTypes.

(I'm going to leave it at this for now, and you can ask me as many questions as you'd like c:)

Since spring is coming around my way, I'd let you guys in on a little tip!

Baked Potatoes are an amazing source of potassium, and can help with headaches! Just cook one up in the morning, and cut it in half; when it's all done, eat one half then, and the other later on in the afternoon/evening! My family's been doing this for a long long time and it really helps! (I actually just finished my potato half a little bit ago haha)

Ugh I have two chapters that are similar when it comes to the general plot of the story, but I can't tell if they're too similar, y'know? The worst part is that I really enjoy both of them and consider them each good works.....

sigh. I'll have to choose one to put away, I suppose, but that doesn't mean I'll enjoy doing so >:[

this message may be offensive
currently re-watching lotr/the hobbit and I forgot why I had favored Pippin and Merry until now-

the worst part is that this fandom has been around for a while, since I was a kid, so visiting it now is irritating because they're all way too old for meee
;____; like here I am fanboying over a cute scott and german-american who are both older than my parents like??? This is so fucking unfair???? Please all I want is a cute celtic boyfriend/partner-
