For the Garen  Katarina  story it could go along the lines of this... Garen and the soldiers attack swain but Leblanc sneaks over to the ship and kidnaps Katarina  and Ashe. Garen also gets captured, and swain uses the truth serum on Katarina. Garen finds out that she loves him and it wasn't a ruse. Swain and Leblanc are about to kill them in front of all the demacians but karthus and nocturne show up and save them
