@SnowfakesElegance Thanks so much! And yep, ONC stands for Open Novella Contest where we’re given 3 months to write a novella. Shadewalker’s got some light hearted moments, but it does take a few darker turns as a heads up (mature for language/violence)

Yahoo! So excited it’s done. About to sink my teeth into it and binge (listening while doing a bit of sewing). Congratulations on its completion! To my understanding (as I’m only a reader), the ONC is a competition, if that’s the the case then wishing you the best of luck! Will let you know my thoughts after I devour this ‘bad boy’. Because that Prompt was just so hilarious, can’t wait to see (listen), how your creative genius has interpreted and incorporated it into your storyline. Well, I’m off to become immersed in another exciting journey...

To those of you who were participating in The Black Sail Awards, the contest has been called off. I have not been informed as to why, but if you were in the historical fiction genre and followed me as your judge, a permanent follow is no longer required. Likewise, if you have not yet completed the payment of commenting on Subterra Heart, you are no longer required to do so.
For those of you who have already completed your payment as of today, I still plan to read and comment on your stories up to where you have read on mine.

Hey all, so I’ve been pretty good about updating Shadewalker twice a week so far, buuuuuuuuut I dropped my laptop a couple of days ago… (the screen is still useable for now. I’m just trying to get everything backed up in case it dies on me). Chapter 15 is fully written, and I’ve got the remaining few chapters planned out. I just don’t know if I’ll be able to publish anything this week.

Hey all, so I’ve decided to try doing the Open Novella Contest this year. I’d love to get myself in the habit of writing more quickly (and actually stick to a plan for once) so that I can finally finish up Subterra Heart, so that’s something that I want to challenge myself to do with this contest.
I did start writing on Feb. 2nd…but that turned into a bit of a kerfuffle since I was plopping stuff into an empty draft that had been sitting around for a while. And since that’s a no-go, here is my official start to ONC 2024, fresh draft and all!
