Our eyes met. All at once everything slowed down and quickened at the same time. As the ticking of the clock seemed to grow louder, my heart matched its rhythm. Could it really be him? It couldnt have been, but it was. The striking blue eyes staring at me, where the same eyes that had comforted me for many years. He hasn't changed. He still wore the same black denim jeans and his buttoned up shirt, that weighed effortlessly on his skin- emphasising his perfect structure.
"Luke!" I cried and then... he was gone.
I had lost him once more and the pain became fresh. I was alone in the library; I was alone in life. Abruptly, I fell to the floor, I could no longer carry the weight of my own sorrow.
"Luke." I whispered , as my vision became blurry and the stitches in my heart officially snapped. I was broken. He was gone.
