Hey y'all, I just received a sketchy message supposedly from WattPad that wanted me to verify my account. The message is still in my feed if y'all want to look at it. Notice how the account linked is Whattpad, not WattPad, and it wanted me to click on a link in the bio. (Also I tried looking up that account and it's no longer active).
          Just a reminder to everyone to be safe on the internet and carefully check anything that wants you to click on a link, especially if there's a time pressure involved because that can be a sign of a scam. Check for spelling in accounts/addresses and in the body of the message in general. And if you're not sure, go ahead and message the actual company (in this case, WattPad support) to verify whether something is real. I'm going to report this account too.
