Hey guys! I don’t know if anyone’s gonna be reading this but i just wanted to apologise for the huge break i’ve taken. Checkmate was doing so well and i honestly feel awful that i just stopped writing it without any explanation. Short answer, i dropped out of school which meant i had a lot of time to write the book, so i started it, and didnt anticipate how much time it’d actually take out of my days to plan it and write it and edit it and then go on to make edits too, and instead of just slowing down the pace and doing it in a scheduled way, i just stopped and that sucks because i really did want to continue the book. In all honesty, i have no idea where i would even start to continue the book, but if it’s any consolation, i do want to get back into writing. Maybe not Checkmate just yet because i don’t actually know where id go from here, but i am all for making a new book and actually doing it right by planning it better and making the edits on the days where im not writing instead of just cramming it all into one day.
