I know I've made statements like this before, but this time is absolute and final on account of success. I will keep all chapters up here, but from this point forward, all future chapter releases and revisions shall be posted solely on RoyalRoad. Thank you for your support and I hope you'll continue to follow my endeavors no matter what platform or medium they take! The name is the same and the account name is ShadowDurza.

As is plainly obvious, I really like to use exposition for world building, perhaps even too much. It can work to pad out each chapter while still being entertaining, but I can't help but feel I'm lousy at "Show, don't tell." But the world (universe really) I'm trying to build is so big and extraordinary that I have a lot to tell about it and how it works.

I like to make it a point that all of my crazy fantastic concepts aren't just there to be there or that they're special to that particular time and place, but they are widespread and are a major and even part of the universe's civilizations and their infrastructures. My ideal fantasy setting is where you can't tell if it's magic applied in a way that looks like super science, or super science applied in a way that looks like super science. I even have a few ideas for a "Mystic Sci-Fi" story, but for now I'm sticking with what I've yet to complete.

As for revisions: a few spelling errors and some parts that should have been underlined not being underlined (I really hope it isn't something with limits with Google Doc's cut and paste lol). And something with the latest chapter where it explains something cool with Yohan's lighter.

As you can see, I've finally posted Chapter 17. To see my latest chapters get views, especially more then two, it fills my heart with joy to be honest. Thank you for sticking with me even though I never gave you a reason to, and I want you to know I've already started Chapter 18.

As wasn't plainly obvious from the beginning, Anime and especially Manga are huge inspirations for me, but since I never tried developing any art skills outside of high school classes, this is the next best thing. Someday I hope to be able to write the script of the great American Manga, but unfortunately Artists don't sell themselves cheap even on promises of a negotiable 70/30 revenue share.

As for revisions: Yohan's constructs are solid Aura instead of being made of a gold-like substance now, and I changed the terminal from the office in Chapter 11 to a device called a FullHorn, more on that later.

Once I reach Chapter 20, I'm thinking I'll start doing some snall bonus side-content, like Character Info Books and Lore Books. And once I start getting comments, I'll do a story where I answer some questions.

          Thank you and Bugrit!

Another week, another heap of work left undone lol.

A while ago, I tried moving my story to other platforms such as Inkitt. I didn't do it for any good reason, I was just super unsatisfied with the number of reads my story was getting and the complete lack of any comments or feedback. Ultimately, I was looking for a cheap path to instant success. I realize that the best way to get to the large numbers is to just keep working at it and making more and more chapters.

As for revisions, only one. I decided to rename PK users to PK Masters. As for why, it just sounds cooler. Notice how it's capitalized. I tend to capitalize certain things even when it's not necessary to, mostly to draw attention to it.

As for my current status: My favored document software is Microsoft Word and to this day, I still start all new documents with it. After a while, I realized I could more efficiently backup and add to any documentations I may make by using cloud storage. I originally used Microsoft OneDrive for this purpose, but in retrospect it had more bugs than a dead hippopotamus in the sunshine that I ignored for a prolonged period out of indifference, but I eventually switched to Google Drive and Docs after getting sick of the roundabout methods I used to edit and save documents in OneDrive. I also eventually discovered that the only way I can publish my works while efficiently maintaining my personal narrative formatting style was through PC, but impossible through mobile device. I may occasionally edit, revise or add to my story using my smartphone whenever inspiration may strike in any place, but all my changes only become definitive when I am within a more controlled environment.

Thank you, and Hail 2 U!

Now, onto upcoming revisions:

Firstly: I have decided to once again rename the story. From here on out it shall be called Masters, and as part of this, the story element that is the profession of Hunters shall be renamed Masters. My reasonings for doing so include an effort to distance myself from one of my biggest inspirations.

Second: I have decided to rename the Sacredman tribe to the Polyman tribe. My inspirations for the name Sacredman come from anime and manga's attempts to localize things that when literally translated mean "Holy" in a way that is non-confrontational (politically correct). My reasoning for identifying a tribe composed of hybrids of different tribes come from my strong ideological beliefs in science and genetic diversity. After a while, having a name that diefies a group of people even if they are superior to the other groups of people in many ways just didn't sit well. In my original drafts, I intended to make what would become the polyman tribe to be the most numerous, but that didn't sit well either so I decided to make them just as plentiful as the other tribes with a margin that can lean to slight minority.

As for minor revisions, they are simply corrections of various spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors from the last chapter.

These revisions will go into effect once I eventually finish and publish Chapter 17.

Now, I have decided to make changes with my approach to writing and networking this story. I will try to make a weekly post about any non-spoiler progress, revisions, or concepts I may conceive. And even if I don't have anything related to the story to share, I'll probably just say something on my mind that I feel like sharing.

ljLohman

If any of you are dissatisfied or disappointed with all of my revisions, please bare with me. I won't change any core narratives or characterizations in case you're worried about that, and to expect many extensive revisions in every published chapter to come. I can assure you there are methods to my madness even if they make sense to me alone, this is a learning experience on my part but I will never hesitate to make it as good as I can make it. I've abandoned several stories early on in the past simply because I grew unsatisfied with them for all kinds of reasons, but this one is different. I can feel it in the center of my being that this story is special, everything about it has something I am proud of, and I fully intend to see it through to the end no matter how long it takes. And even after typing "The End" this story will serve as a launchpad for many stories to come, stories I will do anything within my power to share with as many people as possible so as to instill powerful feelings in them and stimulate their imaginations (and make a boatload of money if I can play my cards right lol).

I know that everyone's lives have been affected by the pandemic in some way, but for the most part, myself and all prominent figures in my life have had no tangible complications or changes that interfered in our daily living.

So why haven't I been releasing my chapters monthly aymore?

I just have a lot of personal weaknesses. I'm not good at being consistent or professional in anything. Sometimes, it seems like I'm happier revising previous content, creating narrative concepts I may or may not actually use, making additions to my personal conceptual timeline, or simply working on other things than actually giving an effort continue the narrative I'm at now.

TL;DR Warning, this is pretty much an essay composed of multiple parts.

To any remaining followers and readers I may have:

SARS Covid-19 has turned our whole planet up, down, all around, upside down, and inside out, and impacted every major industry like a meteor for better or worse. I know pretty much any sense of consistency with my chapter releases is out the window, but before you make any assumptions, I want to tell you:

I'm sorry, it's all on me.
