Chapter Two is up.
          
          Been a while since this one got an update.  I tried writing a better chapter two for this story, but it turns out I got it right the first time.  Chapter three might be getting a facelift, though.  Basic concern is, if I'm going to write a western, I want gunplay at some point.
          
          Anyway, a recap.  In the first chapter, Brooks and Guerney are still recovering from having operated a machine that allows them to peer millions of years into the past.  In chapter two, we learn more about these men and their mysterious employer, Professor Thirlby.

Chapter Six is up.
          
          Shay makes camp with Old Magda, a friend and colleague of her deceased master, Shem.  There's something new on the horizon, something which could spell the end of the corpse robber way of life.  But could these changes have a darker tint to them, something sinister and even deadly?

          Achilles must dive beneath the Quellian inner sea in search of the missing pod.  There, he makes several discoveries about his environment, but he may not have noticed the danger lurking nearby before it's too late.

Chapter 3 of Gomes: In a County Most Fair is up.  Detectives Gomes and Bally meet up with Lt. Reyes, the officer in charge of the Greens Point Changeling case.  There's conflict on the horizon for the lieutenant and Gomes from the moment they meet.  If they're not careful, their personality clashes could jeopardize the case.

          The search for the missing null pods continues.  While Snog and Swiss put their heads together on a possible solution, Achilles observes the strengths and weaknesses of the Mod leadership structure.

Chapter Seven is up.
          
          Achilles and Swiss accompany Ugly Phil and a party of Mods to retrieve the shipment of alien booze thrown down from orbit by a smuggler vessel.  However, the weather has been unkind, making it difficult to locate something that should have created a blast crater when it landed instead of plunging, and disappearing, into muck.  Luckily, our favorite robot might have an answer for that.

Chapter two is up. It's a little short, but that's what happens when you cut five hundred words from a 1,700-word chapter. Too much needless exposition. What's left is lean, mean, and exactly what I want to say on the subject. Enjoy.
          
          Avram Ghul arrives at The Maze to learn some exciting events have occurred near The Havenstone the night before, but it's the reason for his visit to The Maze that's the strange part.

          Finding the dead boy has left Shay wracked with painful emotions. She and Goon retreat to the safety of their camp, but strange sounds in the night draw the corpse robber out of hiding in hopes of finding a way to keep her sadness at bay.
