Hi! I just wanted to say how much I love your HyunLix stories (especially "How We Match"). The way you alternate perspectives between Hyunjin and Felix makes the characters feel so real, and your scenes strike the perfect balance between intimacy and realism. I’ve learned a lot just from reading your work.

I’m trying to improve my own writing, especially writing intimate, layered scenes like yours. Would you be willing to share one technique or habit that helps you achieve that effect? I’d really appreciate any insight you could give.

Thank you so much for creating such amazing stories—they genuinely inspire me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! Your advice really clicked for me, especially the part about pacing and the “almost” moments—it’s so helpful.

I also just wanted to say I hope you’re taking care of yourself. Your stories always bring me comfort, so I hope you get some time to relax and enjoy things too.

Thanks again for sharing your work and insight—it truly makes a difference.

Hi and thank you so much!! I absolutely love that question and I actually have a few things I try to pay attention to. First is pacing - I try to look at a story like looking at music, it needs to have a flow and rhythm that is balanced. the next thing is letting the characters not say everything they think and feel but showing it in actions and having the reader connect the dots. real people hide what they feel or even fight against it. and lastly is tension is usually the best part so i pay more attention to the before, the almost, the longing, then the actual intimate scenes.

that’s at least what I do consciously! thank you again for your kind words and I hope i could help a little bit Happy Writing!!

Ello! ~ I just learnt Marshyunlix has seemingly disappeared out of nowhere, along with their work on both WattPad and AO3. Hence, I'm simply dropping by to plead with you not to do the same. Please notify us ahead of time at least. It caused me both heartache and a panic attack _(:Ⅰ」∠)_

Your work “Stigma (n.)” is among my utmost favourite HyunLix pieces; and “How We Match”, as well as “Soft Like Sin” are paramount to all I have read thus far. You have such a way with words that perfectly tugs at my heartstrings, and I absolutely LOVE how you alternate between narratives to convey both Hyunjin and Felix's perspectives (੭ ≧∀≦)੭ ‘Cause I appreciate the balance it offers, wherein the affection between them feels equally earned. That is my favourite narrative technique (you are perhaps amongst the few HyunLix authors who employ it). You are genuinely one of the best writers around. You perfectly encapsulate all of the elements in one, which I never thought was possible. I suppose it is feasible for exceptional writers such as yourself! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ You manage to render the story both light-hearted and achingly realistic, with just the right amount of spice and passion. The way you build and release tension is superb enough, yet your ability to seamlessly integrate the plot is beyond compare. It is easy to visualise everything that happens in your writing because they all feel natural and realistic (๑* ૦ *๑) I’m certain I’ll love all your other projects, which I have yet to read.

@_Not_So_Anonymous_ oh wow, sorry for the late reply! and first happy new year! - I'm doing alright! my job was insanely stressful the last few months that it didn't leave much room to write and I definitely need to find a way to cut down on that but otherwise I'm doing well! I'm so sorry to hear about Marshynlix, I totally get that the uncertainty is the worst part!

And thank you so so much for the kind words about my writing I certainly will take those words with me this year, thank you so so much!

I hope you're doing well as well! thank you again!

With that said, you are one of my all-time favourite HyunLix authors (੭*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)੭ If you aren't feeling well, allow yourself to take a break. Your overall well-being should remain the utmost priority. The only qualm I have is that I hesitated in enquiring about Marshyunlix's well-being. Now I'm terribly concerned about them, but have no way of knowing how they’re faring (I felt as if t’was too intrusive to ask, and y’all don’t owe us anything). However, we do extend care toward you authors, whose writings supply us with some semblance of optimism ! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡ ~

Anywho ~ Oh gosh. I’ve rambled on. Sorry y’all. A Belated Merry Christmas and an Advanced Happy New Year ! ~
