Hi! I just wanted to say how much I love your HyunLix stories (especially "How We Match"). The way you alternate perspectives between Hyunjin and Felix makes the characters feel so real, and your scenes strike the perfect balance between intimacy and realism. I’ve learned a lot just from reading your work.
I’m trying to improve my own writing, especially writing intimate, layered scenes like yours. Would you be willing to share one technique or habit that helps you achieve that effect? I’d really appreciate any insight you could give.
Thank you so much for creating such amazing stories—they genuinely inspire me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! Your advice really clicked for me, especially the part about pacing and the “almost” moments—it’s so helpful.
I also just wanted to say I hope you’re taking care of yourself. Your stories always bring me comfort, so I hope you get some time to relax and enjoy things too.
Thanks again for sharing your work and insight—it truly makes a difference.

Hi and thank you so much!! I absolutely love that question and I actually have a few things I try to pay attention to. First is pacing - I try to look at a story like looking at music, it needs to have a flow and rhythm that is balanced. the next thing is letting the characters not say everything they think and feel but showing it in actions and having the reader connect the dots. real people hide what they feel or even fight against it. and lastly is tension is usually the best part so i pay more attention to the before, the almost, the longing, then the actual intimate scenes.
that’s at least what I do consciously! thank you again for your kind words and I hope i could help a little bit Happy Writing!!
