when it comes to growing my account/book the main thing is posting constantly on whatever platform, instagram, tiktok, etc. you can look at mine for inspo on how i did it (lacesreads) that’s how i get most of my viewers.
when it comes to writing, plan out EVERYTHING. i used a notebook and wrote down all the ideas i had, then would plan out chapters 1-10, write down what the main plot of those chapters would be. when i would finish 1-10 id move on to 11-20, so on and so forth.
grammar is everything, go through and reread what you wrote.
for the second book i’m writing i want to do 60ish chapters so i don’t plan on releasing them until i get over half way that way i can go in and add details in earlier chapters if a new idea comes to me later on. posting half the book when you’re done with it also helps with engagement. i personally don’t like reading a book unless its completed or has at least half of the book finished because some authors take a couple weeks to update and i hate being left on a cliffhanger lol.
