I haven't been active lately and for that, I'm very sorry. I don't know if you have heard but Puerto Rico got struck really hard by hurricane Maria. I am a puertorrican and I live in Puerto Rico and seeing all the streets that have been familiar to me since I was a child destroyed by fallen trees and electrical wires really saddens me. Many people don't know the horror that had past through my island on September 20, 2017 and that is devastating. Many puertorricans are out on the streets begging, begging for food, water, and shelter. Many roads, after being struck a month and seven days ago, still haven't been breached due to the amount of destruction. If any of you believe that us puertorricans are taking this as something worst than what it really is, then you are sadly mistaken. We are taking this the way we are supposed to. Maria hit us, hit us hard! She struck, she flipped and she turned this beautiful island into a war zone! We have chaos. That's what she left us, chaos and destruction but who wouldn't thought that that would make us stronger? Two days after the hurricane, puertorricans came together and that neighbor that we hadn't spoken to, we talked to them. Neighbors that we didn't even know existed, we now know them. Maria destroyed my beautiful island, but this island is even more beautiful now than ever because of its natives start helping one another and showing their virtues. That is the Puerto Rico I love. The Puerto Rico that never takes "no" for an answer. The Puerto Rico "que se levanta"! #puertoricoselevanta
