★PLEASE READ!!!!★
I felt like I needed to say something about what I've noticed for a little while now. The Al usage in the fanfics currently is INSANE. A majority of fanfictions I click on recently is Al!!
Its gotten so bad that each time I click on something new, I PRAY it's not Al.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Al is bad. In fact, the sole reason I recognise Al writing is because I also give chatgpt prompts sometimes. But I NEVER give it prompts that goes in my drafts. It is written by me and me alone.
Now, a lot of the newly uploaded works are Al and it all has the same voice. Every chapter starting with "it started ____ (eg. Small)" and every paragraph is jst drowning in descriptive(mostly) words and full stops like "It wasn't loud. It was Quiet. Calculating. Deadly."
And the main thing I have to say is:
PLEASE STOP USING AI AND WRITE IT YOURSELF!! ITS OKAY IF YOU THINK ITS CRINGE. IT'S ALLOWED TO BE.
Everybody starts cringe. And then they write more cringe. But then somewhere along the way, the "cringe" starts having emotions. Real ones, not just one word sentences. And its okay if you feel lost or dunno where to start. Write it down, even if it doesn't make any sense. You can ALWAYS make changes and edit!!!
I don't wanna call out the Al authors cuz I'm simply not brave enough.
I jst wanted to get this off my chest.
