Why are we using Ai? For starters the cover is abundantly clear that it is Ai generated, which is evident in the lack of environment depth, the notable uniformity in the chains, the textures are also clearly wrong- with the patterns being clearly generated rather than hand crafted. Second of all the blurb is clearly artificially created/generated, there are sentences that are clearly not generated which you can tell by the grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary choices- and it is very inconsistent because you’re going from a lot of different grammatical choices, and punctuation to little to none, as the same goes for the grammar. You seem old enough to know why Ai usage is bad but incase you do not, Ai is bad for the environment massive energy consumption, high water usage for cooling data centers, and the ecological impact of mining for hardware. Training large models and running daily inferences consume substantial electricity—often from fossil fuels—with some generative tasks using 4-5 times more energy than standard web searches (UNEP, 2025), Generating a 100-words with AI can consume around 519 milliliters of water (Greenly, 2025), Producing hardware like GPUs depends on mining critical minerals such as lithium, cobalt, and rare earth elements. This causes deforestation, groundwater depletion, and soil contamination (LSE, 2025). BUT also, just incase you for some reason don’t care for the environment, AI systems, trained on human-generated data, often perpetuate or amplify racial, gender, and socioeconomic biases, resulting in discriminatory outcomes in hiring, policing, and healthcare (UNESCO, 2025), Increased reliance on AI for writing, thinking, and companionship can erode human critical thinking skills, lead to increased isolation, and impact mental health, particularly in children (UNESCO, 2025). Increased reliance on AI for writing, thinking, and companionship can erode human critical thinking skills, lead to increased isolation, and impact mental health, particularly in children (UNESCO, 2025). It’s okay if you can’t write, we all learn somewhere- but maybe don’t pretend that you’re doing this when a machine is doing it for you. Writing (as a definition ) is the activity or skill of marking letters and words, and composing text (Oxford Languages, 2026) - by using Ai you’re not actually writing, in-fact just generating. Maybe do some research, and stop generating this book. Wattpad and books in general are meant to be a thing to showcase our own thoughts, feelings, and creativity- by using Ai you’re not showcasing anything.
