Should I be grateful for my parents deciding to move out of the U.S.?
I think I should.
I mean
TrUmp
Fucking Trump
Donald Trump
Donald T
Don T
Don't
It's in his name guys...
On a YouTube video (channel's called Jacksfilms)
People made acronyms for 'vote'
Voice
Of
The
Electors
Was one of them (alongside videos of Trump eating and many others)
(I watched it again, and that was one of the reasons for this useless rant)
Here, you vote for the party you support.
And there aren't only 2.
(It's just that there's a main one that gets elected because people are stupid.)
But I can count many parties which are in the government.
(Here, to have coalition, you need mandates, (a number of votes is one mandate) you need more than the other parties (naturally) but there's number that only above it can get a party to actually get in the coalition or opposition.
Then, parties start making deals with others about roles in the government etc.
The are many opinions and positions towards many issues, and it can be called diverse. (Kinda)
But in the U.S., it's like having only two options, and both of them aren't very attractive, and be like:
Okay, I don't like it, or the party's ideals, buuuttt... it's better than the other ONE.
And electors I understand, 320,000,000 people, it's the ideal.
But, this way is weird.
And the lack of options!
Any party that isn't Republican or Democrat, is too weak to get elected.
AND, there aren't enough parties to fit people's ideals.
I have socialist friends, and they support equality between everyone.
They lived in the U.S., and now, although they dislike the government, they still feel much better, knowing someone represents them on the opposition. Which, according to them, is better than nothing.
But in the U.S....
How I see it, whoever is chosen, they're gonna shit on you.
You just need to decide whose crap stinks less- elephant or ass.
(And it rhymes hip hip hooray to me)
(Sorry if I offended someone)
