no shade but i’m sick of the way people do age gaps on here! i’m just too grown to read about 18 year olds with 25-36 year olds and that’s what 85% of these books are now  why yall never wanna do age gaps between two people without TEEN in their age omg

i hate you "happy endings don't exist irl" ass authors.......like this is a FICTION story, we don't need realism!

small rant but every book somebody getting beat or cheated on…..literally 98% of the “urban” books includes this at least twice. like damn is this the only formula y’all know? y’all don’t like happiness, joy, fluff, ANYTHING GOOD?!? whole book is just mfers fighting and breaking up, just for the main characters to still end up together happily ever after and i feel like we can reach this goal without the extra bullshit!! i love mess as much as anyone but it’s getting weird now. if you can’t write drama outside of infidelity or abuse (which isn’t drama TBFH) then it’s time to reevaluate babes……

i wish i knew how to write properly because i have so many book ideas on my head :/
