Thank you for the kind words.
In the show's early episodes, every member of Pallavi's family interacted differently with Raghav. Vijay cared about Pallavi, and it took months for him to realize gradually that she was keeping him in the dark. The writers ruined it by isolating Pallavi in Raghav's orbit, reducing the Deshmukhs to irrelevant fast-forward material, and turning Vijay spiteful, sneaky, and irrational. Vijay had good reasons to reject Raghav, the man who showed obscene photos of himself and said Pallavi was in them, drove Vijay to attempt suicide, gave him a heart attack, put his son in jail while Vijay was calling for Nikhil from his hospital bed, forced Pallavi to marry him ... Vijay needed time to see Raghav's remorse and devotion to Pallavi, and Raghav gave him only orders, violence, and shouting.
I wanted to tell the story of Raghav not giving up, and instead of ordering Pallavi's family to forgive her, learning to listen to them and earning his place in her world.
