@thesusiesjointz literally, i think when we express the importance of using your own knowledge and skills to learn and advance as a writer people simply minimize it to just reading on this app within the fandom when it’s much deeper than that. reading, writing, and education literally used to be ILLEGAL for black people so i refuse to believe that literature is just this fun cute little hobby that can easily be invaded. i’d also like to point out on top of ai tricking people into thinking they can be writers without reading, that it is just another tactic to sell people their own lives. convince them that they’re good at something and rely on artificial intelligence to keep them dependent on it, instead of exercising their own creativity.
