they'd taken a detour from their little cave , sokka having his sword strapped to his back as he weaved through the crowd - trying to remain as discreet as possible . of course , he had nothing to worry about - really . the clothes they'd stolen to fit into the fire nation fit him snugly , and it wasn't like he looked incredibly out of place . sure , he didn't quite pick up on all of the slang that the fire nation seemed to use , and a few people had called him a little old-fashioned for it . but it wasn't like the lack of jargon was about to make or break his stay here . his eyes caught onto a stall that had lined up a few knives . his momentary distraction had been enough that he felt a shoulder ram into his sternum , making him let out an ' umph! ' at the collision . he stepped to the side , hand already trying to ease the pain that blossomed where they collided , eyes widening when he saw who he'd bumped into . she looked ... well she didn't quite look like someone who walked around the stalls every day . sheepishly , he apologized , " sorry for bumping into you - i uhh ... got a little distracted with the weapon setup there , " he gestured towards the stall in question .
