I completely overlooked the fact that this is a platform that can be used to spread awareness about blm and police brutality since I've been using twitter these last couple of days but sign any petition you can and educate yourself and those around you on what's happening and why it's happening. Be angry. "If you're silent then you are helping the oppresser." (- Sofia Bryant). You are actively participating, no matter what you're doing, weather that be not saying anything or protesting, you are participating. Donate to jail bail funds for protesters who were arrested. Donate to organizations that help the blm movement. sign every petition you can. tell people what's happening. use your voice. acknowledge your white/nb privilege and use it to protect black people at protests. use that privilege to do good rather than be able to say that it isn't your problem. not everyone gets to do that like us white/nb people can. Black people suffer everyday. I acknowledge my privilege and the fact that I can pass as a white american and I will never understand what so many people have to go through everyday but I can stand with them and support them and not talk over them. Racism is real to this day. Police brutality is real. White and non black privilege is real. Innocent black people dying bc of police brutality is very fucking real and should not be ignored. If you think kids being maced, people getting tear gassed and shot with rubber bolts (which can kill people and many people are losing their eye sight and eyes to) all by police with too much power is in any form okay, fucking block me you assholes. ACAB. Black lives matter. Change needs to happen. I'll link petitions, jail bail funds, and ways to help. ** Also don't use the protests happening as a way to live out your weird dreams of creating and being in a riot ** Links #petitions" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co #petitions</a> https://www.communityjusticeexchange.org/nbfn-directory https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/
