hot take.. but squid game is not that compared to Alice in borderland.
          
          
          Yes, I will agree that the hype is well deserved but I do feel like it is a BIT overhyped. I love how it shows a lot of Korean culture like childhood games and all that. Yet I feel like there is not that much of a connection with each and every character. With AIB there is a backstory of how their life was for almost every single relevant character and it gives us the understanding and empathy for how the character became to be. IMO, I also feel like I have a better connection with the characters this way and want to fight for what they are doing in the show. And I do know that squid game is only kids games but I can’t lie that AIB’s games are so much better and way more interesting because it seems almost impossible to survive and win the game.

          BUT, i swear whenever a season comes out the other comes in the conversation every time. So I just wanted to share my opinion.

after watching season four of the umbrella academy, I am shocked and angry at what happens in ep 5. It was so god awfully uncomfortable I had to walk out the room. Everything felt so out of place. It started out so great and the near the end it just went down hill from there. The baby shark thing was awful. There wasn’t much screen time for Ben’s arc which is annoying since I thought this season is supposed to be about him. Don’t even get me started on the Lila and Five thing. I am not even gonna see this season as canon at this point. It’s so bad. The only thing I actually liked about this season was the ending and the cafe of Five’s. Also, Viktor owning a bar and Claire having a place in the show.
