my real life friend invited my other real life friend to a discord group chat, and now i'm scared to have my name as 'evan' on discord, because the friend sees me as female only and may not like me using the name.
even though the name can technically be unisex.
and it's only a name and it doesn't harm anyone but the friend may still have an issue or judge me or see me differently.
i wanna use evan as my nickname as well as other names.

the issue lies with the friend knowing many other people in my life. the friend could tell my support worker or our mutual friends, and then they'll all see me differently. i am unsure about my pronouns and nicknames, but evan seems right and a comforting name for me to go by online.
