if youre writing a poc character and dont know who to faceclaim u can always write them as described :) the amount of representation in media is far too little for writers to take it away in favor of casting their favorite actor / actress instead of doing research.

@sourmuse exactly!! i get the wish for fc because it makes graphics super fun but like i promise if u have some characters w a fc and others as described it really wont hurt anyone… i think with arab or native or sea characters it is so important to make sure youre picking your faceclaim correctly because the rep for them is just AWFUL and every character counts. im always so happy to see u writing arab / persian / overally diverse characters btw :3 i adore ur stories

@poIkadots i did this for my arab and persian OCs when i couldn’t find any faceclaims and at the end of the day faceclaims/casting actors has no impact on the story at all!!
