the individual silently scoffed as they were shoved away,  but dorian didn't seem to notice as his attention was now directed towards emiliano.  he smiled,  that being a rare sight to see on the ravenette,  before a chuckle later came from him〝  i'm taking your advice,  you did say i should take breaks more often after all ＂ he replied as his head instinctively leaned against the other's hand that rest over his neck〝  never knew how good the drinks really were here until i tried a few thanks to them ＂ he added,  referring to the individual and their friends who were also sat with them

"⠀ the hand slides from his head to the side of his neck,  his digits curling around the delicate column of around one's throat in a playful but almost possessive manner.

his gaze remained away from emiliano's,  not wanting to look the other in the eye at the moment.  he didn't want to get his hopes up,  but the other's words were starting to make himself believe that he really was wrong〝  what do you mean by that﹖ ＂ he questioned,  a hint of confusion being heard in his voice

〝  because i'd have no chance ＂ came his simple reply as he took off his tinted shades and put them on the other〝  there's people out there that'd be better options to go for than me anyways ＂

〝  a pretty low-bar tactic if you ask me,  especially when it's you we're talking about ＂ zircon's eyes only rolled in response before chuckling himself.  but he wasn't going to deny though that he was curious about these other ideas the other potentially had up his sleeve〝  and what was it that you had in mind huh﹖ ＂

〝  of course not-  i'm just surprised to find myself trapped like this between you and the counter behind me.  not that i mind it though ＂ zircon said in an attempt to keep himself composed despite the oncoming red hue that was forming along features

zircon's drunken grumbles only continued as he was lead by emil,  the pushing eventually stopping as his own footing made him breifly stumble〝  i shouldn't have drank so much . .  i'm feeling dizzy- ＂ he managed to say,  his head moving to rest on the other's shoulder

[ ∙∙∙ ]   hm?  you interest me.⠀"   he held the brunette,  simply holding the man by his biceps.   though with how uncomfortable that looked...   he shifts and places his arm over his shoulder instead and leads him out of the club.   "⠀how are you holding up there?   poor thing..   i don't know where you live,   so i'll let you rest at my condo for now.⠀"

how flattering, dear sir. i suppose i can leave my patrons be for a little while, if you really did want to see me so badly.           ⋆  the casino overseer's eyes shut briefly with his smile, stepping out from behind the host's table. there would soon be another staff member running in to take their place, so the game could continue even without ouverte's presence.  ⋆

"⠀you're cuter than i thought.  really─  you are truly something..⠀"   a tear is wiped once his laughter slowly dissipates,  lips curled.   "⠀i do have people i  *can*  choose to hang out with.  however,   i want it to be you.⠀"

zircon didn't bother with interfering once emil left,  only choosing to watch from the sidelines〝  ha,  don't go getting yourself hurt now ＂ he jokingly said while taking the chance to check on the damage he took,  which wasn't that bad.  but getting hit over the head did a number on him
