Someone was unhappy with me because of a certain 18+ scene I wrote.
I do take people’s comments into consideration and welcome all comments so I can improve as a writer. Though I write fanfics, it’s not really that way for me. The characters become their own, despite who you or I may be picturing in our minds. It’s not ever meant to actually be the real person or reflective of the real person.
If you don’t like what I write, then perhaps it’s best not to read it; however, if you do, then heed the rating and understand ALL of my books are meant for adults. Not minors. That’s not discrimination toward minors by any means, but life is not always pretty for adults. It can be messy and just plain terrible at times, on a different level than what you experience as a minor.
I’m an adult writing for adults. I’m college educated and my writing is mature due to that.
The takeaway is PLEASE do not read my works if you’re underage. There’s certain things that are much simpler for minors and real life scenarios that are too complex to understand unless you’ve experienced it.
No offense is meant to anyone, but it will not hurt my feelings if you don’t read my books. I write for me anyway, to improve my writing skills as an author.
