to stella, it felt like any other day. the sun rises and then it sets. and the girl just carries on with her day. stella had spent the majority of her time in the backyard, reading a new book that pepper had encouraged her to read. but eventually, she got tired of the constant bugs around her so the girl decided to call it day and go back to her room. she said her goodbyes to her sister as she entered the house and went to her room, stella’s hand seemed to already be on the handle of the door before she heard a quiet, yet vivid sounds of sobs coming from her sister’s room. concerned, stella approached the door quickly and knocked softly. “callie, can i come in?” her voice was in a respectful tone, but loud enough for her sister to hear between the wall.
