✧      a huge fan of sweets, despite not eating proper food as human’s do, hayase is particularly fond of sugary things like candy. as a result, he considers it a priority to always have a bowl of it in his office for both himself, and his students.
            ✧      his office is for sessions, but also for when student’s need a private place to study. except you’re only allowed to study in there while supervised, one time when he left a bunch of werewolves broke the chair and desk from fighting.
            ✧      hayase’s eyes change dependent on his own emotions, think of a mood accessory    (ring, necklace).  .    but his natural eye color is gold
            ✧      before he became a teacher, he was a streamer in the human world. hiding his identity as a monster, once discovered, he had to shut down his platform as monsters and humans had to remain separate even in the online space 
            ✧      hayase is bisexual, he discovered that in university when he had an insanely huge campus crush on a guy in another department. from then on, he realized he liked both men and women.    (but he does take a long time to fall in love).
            ✧      he’s kind of a nerd in his field of psychology, not that he has an advantage because he can sense other’s emotions, but that there is a true fascination towards how other’s process their feelings differently    [ + + ]   he also loves video games in his spare time, souls games are his go to and he loves to figure out new combos
            ✧      surprisingly, he does have the ability to consume blood, but it’s an extreme measure that he takes only if he’s starving

.    . ᴹʸ     DESIRE IS A   (CARNIVOROUS CREATURE)   I TRY TO KEEP CHAINED:      If you were to ask what Hayase Shinju was, it would entirely depend on who was speaking. To the administration, he is an exemplary student councillor; far more capable to his job than what many would expect. However, not many apart of the academy are aware that Hayase is a rare strain of vampires who feed on emotions to sustain themselves rather than their blood feeding relatives. While positive emotions provide nourishment, stronger emotions are far more intoxicating such as:   love, grief, obsession, and desire particularly hard to resist. From his unique abilities, Hayase was appointed as one of Blackwood’s councillor’s, his role extending beyond academic guidance, but acting as an intermediary role between monster and human students. While his job offers an access to the emotional landscape, the vampire is under constant scrutiny that he’s questioned whether or not someone who feeds on emotions is truly beneficial in this field. Although he only consumes in his personal time, and awfully composed in most situations. Hayase struggles with the nature of his appetite, emotions are more than merely sustenance. While typically in control    (he never feeds unless it’s with his partner  /  or partners), only wanting to offer a helping hand. In privacy, Hayase often faces difficulty to the addiction behind his hunger:   every heartbreak, every confession poses as a harder step to contain his temptation. However, he has become adept to masking his appetite beneath a gentle smile and confident personality. Although there is .    .        a far less ██ human aspect of himself lurking beneath such an exterior.
