@LCMelendez GAH! It's been FOREVER!!! I have all of my messages from Wattpad sent automatically to a folder, and I never look at them cause I kinda got tired of seeing 'blah has sent you a message' 'blah has a new post' when I felt bad for not reading!! Oh my god I have missed you so much!! I have to get back to reading your material!! I feel horrible :( I have abandoned you for nearly half a year! And there's really no good reason, aside from the fact that I was laptop-less (hehe sounds like topless, which I was NOT) for a while and I was never on...Gahr! I feel so bad........I hope to keep talking.... (sad face, puppy eyes) Don't leave me!

          You posted an incredibly flattering message on my profile about a week ago, and I feel bad for delaying the reply so long. Sorry!
          
          So, first off, there's something you should know. Normally I wouldn't reply to fans on a personal level, but your message couldn't have come at a better time. Usually I try to avoid all the internet drama, even if something really pisses me off, because I think it's kinda stupid to let people online upset you. But recently somebody started writing a story that resembles Faking It so closely that it might as well have been written by a grammatically-challenged version of me. I mean, actual lines of dialogue were stolen. It was terrible. I didn't want to write anymore.
          
          So I was pretty damn upset, so much so that my mom was advising me to just quit wattpad entirely and remove my stories. And then came an unexpected flurry of fabulous comments and messages, among them yours, which was special 'cause it addressed me personally, and not just my story. It was so great that I even showed it to my mom.  
          
          Basically what this anecdote is supposed to convey is that your message helped restore my faith in the internet and reminded me that my readers are too wonderful to let down. So thank you :) I think you're awesome.
