im working on this german conversation and i realised something: are trauma (greek "injury, wound") and traum (german "dream") related? like are dreams/dreaming the reason why people suffer? or do we run away from our suffering to dreams/other realities?
          	i need answers

Trauma and Traum/dream aren‘t etymologically related even though they look like they might. Interesting thought though.

@k1nkforlove yeah i know, i meant it like from language point of view (?) my brain just can't believe its just a coincidence. and philosophicaly its a good concept yk. but i totally get what u mean
