            elias lifted a hand slowly but then hesitated again,  glancing away from the other.  "...  are you sure..?"  in the end,  he eventually gave one a very,  /very/ light stroke. 

"don't apologize,   you're not the first to do so!    i've gotten used to it anyways."    laughing while pointing their head towards the knight,   invitingly.   "go ahead!"

            "mm...  my dad likes..  alcohol.  not that th-that's a bad thing...!  i just..  i rather not drink any myself,  i guess.."  he quickly shook his head,  unable to get the right words out.  almost immediately after,  he started to nod aggressively.  "yes!  ...  yes.  we can go.."

"never tried it,   huh?   you aren't a big fan of alcohol,   are you?   can't say i am,   either.   i only drink if my friends are.   much more of a foodie,   actually.   speaking of which—   want to go to good hunter?"

            i...  yes.  i suppose it does sound like it would taste w-weird...  i've never had any so..  i'm not sure /how/ it tastes,  i'm afraid..

            it's not as if she was /wrong/.  he was rather light.  despite all his training,  elias was frail for a knight.  his face turned red as he was helped up,  and it got worse when he was pat on the head.  "s..  still...  are you alright?  i am happy you're okay..."  

"hurt me?   you're as light as a feather!"    laughing as she hoisted him straight,   an arm was carefully wrapped around his waist as they did so,   letting them go and offering a small pat to his head,   playfully ruffling his hair.

            ".. hm?  n...  no!  not at all..  sorry..  it's hard to..  help."  unfortunately,  elias was naturally far too shy for his own good.  with an embarrassing stutter to go with.  he bit at his bottom lip a little then shook his head.  "i think they're pretty scary,  actually...  i hate to see people fighting,  you s-see...  ah." 

"what's with the nervous voice?   what,   am i scary or something?"    chuckling as she leans against the bridge the two were strolling along,   staring down at the lake underneath them.   "drunken brawl,   huh?   must be fun watching them,   though!"

            w-well...  maybe?  aside from th-the monster camps outside a..  and the occasional theft or..  d-drunken brawl..  yes.  i suppose it's a...  relatively calm place to..  live.
