Din opened a ration pack. Before he could even take a bite, a small green hand appeared.
Then another. Grogu sat directly in front of him now. Staring. Unmoving. Patient.
The ration pack disappeared entirely into tiny hands without a single sound of protest from either side—except maybe Din’s silence, which spoke volumes.

@GreenBeanJedi- ( . . . ) a gloved hand shot out to grab the bag before the the other could do anything futher , placing it on his lap . `` you're getting bolder ... `` he mutters flatly once again as he placed a forearm over the bag . `` most kids ask . `` he adjusted his grip on his own rations , taking a small bite as his eyes stayed on grogu . `` you just take . `` he tilted his head before the helmet just shook as he takes another bite . `` this is my food . . . `` he paused , `` my bag and my ship . `` he motioned to each thing so the kid could understand more . `` well ... the ship might be up for debate at this point . `` he glanced to the messed up ship that was slowly getting fixed up .

✧【 @loyalmando 】✧ Grogu froze mid-chew. The ration pack in his hands stopped moving entirely, as if the concept of consequences had just been introduced to him in a language he didn’t quite speak yet. He stared up at Din’s helmet. Unblinking. Processing. Then—very slowly—he tucked the half-eaten ration slightly behind his back. As if hiding it would erase evidence. A beat passed. Then another. He leaned forward again. Not toward the new ration pack. Toward Din’s bag. One tiny hand extended… paused in the air… then, instead of grabbing anything, he gently patted the bag. Twice. A soft, testing gesture. As if negotiating terms. Then he sat back down. Completely still. Eyes wide. Patient again. But now with unmistakable intent: he was waiting to see if the threat was real… or just words. And one small foot, ever so slowly, edged closer to Din’s bag anyway.

@GreenBeanJedi- ( . . . ) din was silent as he watched the ration pack disappeared into the the tiny hands . a tired sigh leaving through the helmet he wore . `` that was mine `` the man says flatly . after a moment he reached for another ration pack from his bag . without looking up , he muttered , `` if you touch this one , im leaving you on the next planet we end up on . `` it was false wording . din wouldn't actually do that .
