hi everyone, it’s ali here!! i know it might seem a little surprising to hear from me, especially since i haven’t logged in here since last year or the year before that hhh. anyway, point is, i haven’t been back here in a long time, and i feel like most of you have seen this coming, since like i’ve said, i’ve been absent from wattpad for so long, but i wanted to make an announcement about it anyway, just to clear things up!!
          	
          	i’ve decided to go on a permanent hiatus from wattpad, mainly because wattpad just isn’t a priority for me anymore. it hasn’t been a priority for awhile now, especially when i found that taking a break from wattpad allowed me to make time for other things, things i used to enjoy doing which i realised, after being off from wattpad, that i haven’t done in so long, and a lot of that was because of this app. 
          	
          	also, to be honest with you guys, my education has become my main priority, and it’s not that i’m under a lot of pressure from my parents to do well or something haha, it’s just that i enjoy doing well!! my studies keep me busy most days, and with the little free time i have left, i somehow find that wattpad just isn’t how i wanna spend it anymore. i still write, i write most days, but i write for myself now, which is something that i’ve come to love. there are no expectations or pressure whatsoever, and it’s just very much for me at the moment!! i say that i’m going on a permanent hiatus from wattpad, and not that i’m leaving wattpad, because wattpad still holds a special place in my heart, it’s where i met so many AMAZING people, it’s where i learned how to improve my writing, and it’s definitely a place that has shaped me into who i am today. so, who knows? maybe when it all just suddenly clicks for me again, i might come back! but for the time being, here’s me, signing off!! 
          	  
          	  take care everyone, and also, thank you to the sweetest people who left the loveliest messages on my message board while i was away and to the ones who might leave any such messages in the future!!

Due to the quarantine I have been rereading some old stories that I've loved and it's sad that you had to put unpublish your stories. I especially loved La Douleur Exuise. I hope you are doing well and I look forward to reading you old and new stories.
