Hi! I'm considering a major in Creative Writing but I've never met anyone who has majored in it so I'm quite conflicted. If you don't mind I have some questions. Like two. Do you enjoy it and do you think it has helped you grow as a writer? Also, thank you so much for voting on my thing.

@SalmonSub Hey! Thanks for reaching out! I'm happy to answer about my experience with it. I would definitely recommend majoring in Creative Writing! I love it! I was going to major in Biology, but the classes were extremely stressful and felt impersonal. The creative writing community at my school is so supportive, and that has really helped me open up as a writer! The teachers have also been amazing. I was worried about majoring in Creative Writing because I thought people would judge my writing harshly and make me feel bad about it, but teachers and other students understand that writing can be sensitive for some people (if that makes sense). Taking Creative Writing classes forced me to write more often and actually share my writing with people, and that took me out of my comfort zone at first, but I definitely think I've grown a lot as a writer. Hope this helps, and you are very welcome! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
