I prefer: comfort over logo; tea over coffee; subtle over flashy; M&M's over smarties; books over t.v.; lame over cool; close friends over many aquantainces; sand over snow; smiles over scowls; face-to-face conversation over phone calls; talking over texting; silver over gold; silence over pointless chatter; bands over solo performers; and a whole lot more, but you get the gist :)
Most of my spare time is used either: reading, writing, listening to music or lurking on goodreads.com, sometimes a combination of the above. I love talking to people about books and I love creating new and interesting stories (or at least I try to make them interesting and hope that they haven't been done before). Some pet peeves include the misusage of words such as 'there, their, and they're' or 'your and you're'. The 'two, to, and too' also bothers me but people seem to be better at those than the others. I also dislike double negatives- if you aint got no money, then stop your damn complaining because you have money :) So now you are thinking that I am a little bit of a grammar sociopath... that's ok. I'm not, but I would rather be a grammar sociopath than a lot of other things in life. Also, I love reading things that are different to the current hot trends in the market. It always makes me happy when I find that rare new release in the teen market that doesn't follow the same pattern as every other book out there. I have a lot of authors that I love. I can't be bothered to list them here. Anyways, that's me I suppose.
