hi! this is v random and i know this paragraph is going to be long but i think about your skangie fic a lot and i feel like the song mirrorball by taylor swift relates to your book so much!
          “I’ll show you every version of yourself tonight”
          for this i feel like lucy really brings out the happiness and personality in edmund
          “ and when i break its in a million pieces”
          this describes lucy  every time she is upset
          “shining just for you”
          Lucy wears what she wants to wear but she puts on the cute nightgown for edmund.
          “I’m trying everything to get you laughing/ looking at me” (2 dif verses)
          she gets really upset when he avoids her and she tries to talk to him and do something to get him to talk to her more
          “as they watch my shattered edges glisten”
          at school people make fun of her when she gets her period. but edmund is there to help her. 
          “I’ve never been a natural all I do is try try try”
          lucy  hasn’t really experienced love before.
          “I’m still trying everything to keep you looking at me”
          edmund is dating tiara and lucy is trying to get him to notice her.
          and finally the line “hush, when no one is around my dear”
          they really show how much they care about each other when they are alone. 
          there’s more lines that fit but this is a good outline of the relations to the song lol!
