Probably way older than most of the authors on this site, but trying my hand at getting my writing out into the world. I write mostly LGBTQ fiction about nerdy teenage misfits in love and angst. I live in Chicago and work two part-time jobs as a children's librarian. 
Influences include (but are not limited to): Sylvia Plath, John Green, Blake Nelson, Becky Albertalli, Gillian Flynn, Megan Abbott, Stephen King, Emma Donoghue, Neil Gaiman, Courtney Summers, Sarah Waters, Shirley Jackson and Michelle Tea.
